My Addiction

It is not a drug nor is it alcohol. It's the neon sour gummy worms or what many of you may know as the Trolli Brite Crawlers. They make me weak and helpless but at the same time they give me the strength I need to a good run or a nice workout. They make me happy and they make me sing.

Neon sour gummy worms and I, we have a long history, a strong friendly ongoing relationship that many others desire and seek. In this relationship, we both benefit, the Trolli company and I. It's simple as this, I buy the bags of Trolli Brite Crawlers to feed my cravings and need, the Trolli company gets the money, I get the power and energy to function at my best, being able to run like the wind and work tirelessly like a robot day after day, and staying awake on those long nights.

I cannot recall how young I was when I was given this wonderful bag of mouth watering delights. My first experience has kept me going all my life. There isn't any other snack in the world that keeps me going like these delicious crawlers. They're bright, they're beautiful, they're breathtaking. One bite leaves a tingle running down my body and turns on the start button in my life, making me ready and awake to sit through endless hours of homework or endless hours of physical activity such as basketball or running around. They calm me down as well when I'm mad at someone, particularly myself when I'm ready to meltdown and lay down in exhaustion and defeat, letting the world and the stress that comes around in a high school like past over and hover around, like a decaying corpse. They have this magic, undiscovered yet searched for by many. Each one of us has our secret addictions. I have chosen to reveal mine, now what about yours?

Trolli Brite Crawlers, my addiction.

  1. I love the way you describe the Troll gummy bears and your love for them. You seriously make me want to buy a whole bag of gummy worms and give the Trolli company by money too. However, I'm skeptical about the gummy bears giving you enough energy or a vigorous run. They seem to be a type of sugar that makes you high for a while and then a crash. Perhaps you can address that? Also, I know it's hard, but maybe describe the taste of gummi sour worms to someone in case they haven't tried it yet. "It is not a drug nor is it alcohol." It would be stronger without all the add-ons. Either that or be consistent with your "a". Personally, I would write it as "It is neither drugs nor alcohol." But good job over all!
