It's that time of year, Thanksgiving, the holiday that comes right before Christmas, the one where all the family members gather around a table with giant turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, ham, and some other side dishes, and each person lists out what they're thankful for.
A list of what I'm thankful for is endless. I would first start off with how thankful I am to be blessed and part of such a loving family. My grandparents and parents are the role models of my life and they're so encouraging and supportive to me. They've done so much to help me grow up into the girl I am today, pouring out their love into my brother and myself. My brother is the one I love the most and I couldn't be more thankful to have him in my life. Look, he's like an angel and our relationship is far more better than any other sibling relationship my eyes have seen. My family members, I love them so much! <3
Next, I'm thankful to be a child of God. Having a religious background in my life has really shaped me into being the person I am today. I have such a wonderful Midway family, a second family to me. The people there, my brothers and sisters in Christ, are so supportive and encouraging. They know how to make events memorable and they surely know how to make me laugh and forget about all the stress I have from school.
I'm so thankful that I live in Huntington Beach, where all the fun and entertainment is just a short drive away. There's the beach here, Bella Terra there; I can eat and shop for personal matters and for friends just like that. I love the beautiful weather here and I love my home sweet home. My hometown has provided my family and I with endless fun and laughter and unforgettable experiences.
And along with being thankful for a loving home and community, I'm thankful for all the opportunities that have been opened up for me throughout my life, such as being able to reach out and bond with others, doing little things here and there for the community, and the education I've been receiving from such wonderful and amazing teachers. The list of people and things to be thankful for are endless. Reach out to someone today and have a safe and beautiful Thanksgiving! <3
